Shooting off in all directions, from dirty bass abuse to sharp and precise minimal all tracks have a solid house backbone. A1’s ‘King Contrary Man’ steps through trippy fx and offbeat perc rhythms with the occasional bline twist building a series of short peaks. Highlight of the lot is ‘Girl Down By The River’, a dark and menacing combination of distorted, pitched down troll vocals and growling bass, with metallic, distorted percussion holding the interest. “Horse Nation’ and “Scene 15′ are cool effects laden cuts, ideal for creative groove build action.
