There’s something delightfully unhinged about the follow-up to last year’s ‘Polivox’ by Italy’s Luca and Xplosiv duo Giorgio Valletta and Sergio Ricciardone. ‘Teddybear Tree’ brings stomping drums upfront while evil bass uncurls, goats break wind and a kind of screeing dentist’s drill effect steams in. It ebbs and flows, joined by counter-acid riffs and wahwah synths with a touch of ‘Knight Rider’. ‘The Kaos [I Have In My Mind]’ is similarly unhinged with more sonic abuse but still that underlying butt-grabbing funk-flow. Intriguing stuff which could cause chaos along the lines of ‘Washing Up’.
