Shaheer Williams’ label has been building up an impressive stream of releases this past while with the Foremost Poets ‘Besides Myself’ currently doing the business. Meanwhile hot UK production duo Fanatix have been enlisted to the rework this smooth vocal from Miss Cooke, which they do in typically funky style. Although nothing goes that you could describe as explosive this crunchy collection of beats, bass and organ is never the less most enticing. Its also worth checking the rougher ‘Dub’ and ‘Shaheer’s Keyapella’ version which tastefully highlights the vocals too.
