Watch out. This one is going to come flying out of your speakers. Sounding not unlike a mid nineties big room house moment, this five note house banger has a lot going for it in the simplicity department. Its rawness means it’s going to cut through on any system and the hooky edge to the bassline is sure to be running through peoples minds at the end of the night. A bizarre breakdown uses noises that sound like an eighties Ping Pong game. All in all, it’s a classic lesson in taking one riff and plundering its depths for maximum dance floor pressure. Things get a little more intense on the remixes. Luke Dzierzek is on hand to add a continental edge to things (despite being from Kent). The riffs are twisted in a darker direction with tones of bleeps atmospherics and general edginess. Last up Danny Freakaziod & David Jiminez hit us up with another dark journey full of Mr. Oizo bass stabs and proggy flourishes. Take your pick.
