Shem Slacker keeps churning out quirky material on his own Jukebox In The Sky imprint. As always the attention to detail is second to none, with layers of interesting samples and rich sounds well integrated in the mix. Tribal chants bring a ‘Papua New Guinea’ flavour to ‘Memory Man’ whilst subtle melodic hooks do their enchanting job. Sophisticated yet big room, this is one grower that will get support and ‘Free Man’ on the flip is great too.
