Hey Quintino! How are you?
I’m really good, 2018 has been amazing so far. A lot of dream collabs, new solo singles, and club tracks coming up. My tour schedule is crazier than ever, so I’m a happy man!
Are you excited to be playing at Daydream Festival, for its first China event?
Hell yes! I’m in love with the Chinese fans, every time I play in China it’s always crazy. The festivals are really upcoming in China, so I am happy to be a part of the festival.
Have you toured across China a lot in the past?
Yes, I’ve played a lot of shows in China, each city is different, that’s what I really like about it.
What else do you have planned in terms of shows this year?
Right now I’m doing my World Mayhem Tour, it started in Miami with WMC, after that 3 weeks of Asia, 3 weeks of Europe, 3 Weeks of China and it ends with a 3 week run in the United States. I’m super happy I can do my own tour.
Any releases in the pipeline you could tell us about?
I got a lot of releases coming up, a new solo track on Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s label Smash the House, some super dope collabs, so it’s going to be a busy summer!
What’s one thing you can’t live without on tour?
My laptop, I always want to work on tour, watch my favourite series and movies, play games on the plane.
Could you name one bit of advice for those looking to venture into a career in DJing?
Always create your own style during producing, it’s one of the hardest things, but only this will separate you from the rest. Think out of the box and always search for a sound that nobody has. This is one of the most important things to build your own career.
