This titanic return from Farley and Heller has been about since destroying DC10 in the summer but is well worth tracking down as a glowing example of proper filthy house. First the chaps set up a blippy, dirty grunter of a groove with contrasting slashing noises and subtle melodic touches drifting about. There’s a definite touch of early 80s New York electro-boogie in there – which makes a suitable backdrop for Marlo’s gutteral Jackie 60-style camp vocal. You have a choice between spoken [sleazy] or sung [Prince meets Robert Owens]. Both work a treat and are accompanied by acapellas. Kind of like an X-rated ‘Lazy’ and it’s brilliant.
