With releases on Functional and Trusted Records, Ben & Lex are back in action, this time with a 12ä on the forward thinking Breakbeat label, Big Square Records. ÎFloor Burnâ does just what it suggests, rock! Easing the listener in to a false sense of security with its slight kicks and snares before locking in for a low bass drop. Rolling old school keys and growling beats lead up to the main drop, as the cut up vocals build up the main kicks back and then some. On the flip Big Squareâs new boys Curl & Dean flex their remix hands, with a late night monster that hits the floor running. Another superb release from this daring label.
