Hyper is the live “rocking and rolling” stage act of breakbeat wunderkind Dj Hyper. The album is a fired up “balls out” bag of energy, rock riffs and heavy breaks. For this release, debut single Twisted Emotions is hjijacked and ruffed up by a variety of house luminaries. Caged Baby create a sonic tapestry of wailing analogue action. It’s wall to wall Seventies riff energy and it sounds like its been created by a man with a moustache standing behind the biggest modular synth ever. Stunning, especially when pitched right up to release its club potential. We are also quite partial to the extended original mix – a really simple, rocky, key-changing affair which, if dropped at the right time creates a huge club lift.
