CROWD THEORY

Crowd Theory’s ‘Reality (Don’t Care ‘Bout Nuthin’)’ takes a leaf out of Gil Scott Heron’s book, telling it like it is, though in a more relaxed stoned preacher kind of way. ‘When it’s too much, yet still not enough to take away the conditions and expectations, most carried pocket bound, hidden like blemishes and faults from lovers, or food from needy mouths ’Freedom essential to one and all for a small price, most often called joining the democracy programme, or making yourself part and parcel of some loose based scam’ 51 States full of territorial squabble and ethnic disputes on the rise, seems like when the U.S. shakes it’s money maker, all the change falls into special interest pocket books, cocaine helicopter fuel reserves, and payoffs to overseers to keep their mouths shut. Land of Technicolor dollars with blue eyes, blonde hair, black blood ‘Reality don’t care ‘bout nothing’. Which works a treat with the old school Chicago vibes of the music. This is poetry on acid.
