01: Jacopo Carreras – Olanto (Lan Muzic)
I am always a sucker for experimental tracks as those are the ones searching for new feel and direction. And when it works they are always on top of my list.
02: Mike Healey – All We Need (Dave Robertson Remix) (New Era Recordings)
It is always tricky to do stomping basslines that last longer than one night. Most are to demanding and I don’t want to be pushed around. This track is therefore just bound to fill any dancefloor.
03: Hugg & Pepp – Snabeln (Dahlback Records)
Minimal is good when it has something to offer. Just minimal is just minimal. For me minimal is best when it glides in you and then opens you up. This one does just that, and leaves you with goosebumps allover.
04: Andrei Morant – Groove Operator (Scope Recordings)
This is a sledge as we call them in the gusgus camp. Gravitation is the sledge drive and nails you to the floor, if you like it or not. And this track is a perfect sledge.
05: Luca & Paul – Massive (Boxer Recordings)
One of these tracks that you can play anytime at the icelandi techno-bars. Not to demanding and with a girly groove and a lot if interesting and catchy stuff happening in the basslines.
06: Moonbeam – Eclipse (Instrumental mix) (Traum)
Intellectual techno is of my liking if it is catchy. Some others may not like but then so does my mother.
07: Pierce – Recreate (BluFin)
With reference in 70’s ambient melodies and backbone in stomping modern techno. It just works.
08: Freakz Brothers – Tension (Cr2 Records)
Perfect for continuing the uplift of any track, with strong roots in early 90’s. Lovely.
09: Elle A – Jet Set (dub edit) (eclectic records)
Just a simple modern little intellectual mover, that sounds great. May not go down in history but will stay in my set for a while.
10: Nikola Gala – Night in Jazz (escada music)
More minimal, perfect to get under people skin during early night buildup.
