A new addition to Audiomatique’s electro-techno roster, Dutchman Van Dongen comes up with the goods. ‘Hate To Say Ok’ is a twisted slice of nonsense that hardly lets go. As the pitch bend goes wild, making you feel the room’s changing shape, the 303 kicks in and things get even filthier. ‘Fingerless’ may have been composed without a keyboard but it still rocks, the distinct bells sample really working the groove and drama.
