‘Insane’ is the aptly titled taster of what’s in store from ESG’s forthcoming ‘Keep on moving’ album, and indeed their first single in all of five years. The ‘Tambourine Mix’ is all blazing heavy-duty basslines and rattling percussion. In other words its minimal and its nasty – just how I suspect you like it. However its the ’Bass mix’ that delivers the vocal hit along with those sleazy snares, more bass and not a lot else, but still manages to conjure up magic.
