Proficient in nearly every Middle Eastern instrument and skilled in sound engineering, he creates hypnotic and powerful oriental house music, suited for both underground clubs and luxurious gardens. Found at festivals like Fusion, Wonderfruit, Ritual Days, Ozora, and Astropolis, Jarl has performed in a dozen countries. My favorite track in the organic house scene. The sound design of the synths and organic elements still surprises me; the amount of detail in the various layers is just crazy.

Todd Terje – Inspector Norse

Probably the most iconic track of the Norwegian space disco scene. Todd Terje was a big inspiration while I was developing my project. It might be hard to notice, considering my aesthetic has evolved a lot since I started producing, but if you listen closely, you should find similarities.

Lindstrom – Rà-àkõ-st

Another masterpiece from the space disco scene. The entire album is mind- blowing; Lindstrom pushed melodic synth composition to a high level with this one.

Valeron – Delos

This track blends so many good ingredients. I especially love the way the Middle Eastern percussions are composed—quite complex and evolving, which gives a very organic feeling to the track.

Altin Gün – Goca Dünya

This band gave new life to psychedelic Turkish rock, playing covers from legends of the genre. Erdinç Ecevit Yıldız is an absolutely amazing multi- instrumentalist.

Barış Manço – Dere Boyu Kavaklar

I couldn’t mention Altın Gün without talking about one of the most iconic artists of Turkish psychedelic rock. Turkish is my favorite language for lyrics. Alongside their unique way of composing, it makes the songs so warm and hypnotic.

Hot Oasis – Kay’s Love

I’m a big fan of antiquity, and this is one of the tracks that transports me most effectively to ancient Egypt. It feels like the acoustic Middle Eastern instruments represent the real world and the synth parts represent the various gods of this mythology.

Paco de Lucia – Entre dos Aguas

A masterpiece of flamenco. The story of the acoustic guitar part is so well written from beginning to end.

Bee Gees – Stayin’ Alive

This one is my guilty pleasure. I usually listen to it from time to time while cooking in spring or summer. It’s the perfect combo with the sun entering the house.

Alabina – Alabina

This is a song that reminds me of so many good memories from my childhood holidays. I could listen to it ten times in a row and still get goosebumps every time.
