Rising star DJ/Producer Josh Gregg continues to break new ground with his newfound label project, Poles Apart. Following the imprint’s launch in May 2024 with the spirited single ‘Connection’ and follow-up release ‘Film Noir’ in June, Josh reveals his new single ‘Walk Your Way’. DMCWorld goes Trainspotting with Josh Greg.
Josh Gregg – Walk Your Way – Poles Apart
‘Walk Your Way’ is my latest single on Poles Apart. The track features my production, writing, singing and is easily one of the most personal things I’ve ever released. Probably been my most requested track in 10+ years of releasing music.
Tagir – Movement (Melchior Productions Ltd Remix) – ANVA Records
Obsessed with this remix – equal parts minimal and euphoric. Thomas’ work is always so precise and this one is no different.
Franck Roger – Sexuality – Real Tone Records
Perfect summer daytime warmup tune from one of the most consistent producers in the world. Every Real Tone release is a must listen for me.
Frits Wentink & Malin Genie – Tongue Kiss – Bobby Donny – Ace Series
Big bumpy low end with modern French touch. Tongue Kiss’ is one of my favourites from this summer so far and will remain the bag for ages. The rest of the EP is great too!
Alex Virgo – The Promise (feat. Olugbenga) – Bordello A Parigi
Gorgeous Italo synthiness. Vocal gets Depeche Mode-y in all the right parts. I had an instant emotional connection to this tune as soon as I listened – it HITS me.
Saoirse – Mangomouse – Peach Discs
Mangomouse has been a highlight for me since it dropped. Real energy shifter in the later hours and that intro is sooo good.
Trent Voyage & Elena Moroder – Aquamarine – Quirk
Aquamarine is clearly becoming one of this year’s standouts. Trent & Elena’s chemistry is so unique and buzzing to see this start to cross over a bit.
Lauren Lo Sung – Purpose – Outright Records
I’ve been a big fan of Lauren for years and this is probably my favourite record she’s ever done. The vocal hook is KILLER. Lose your mind!
Ploy – Sending – Deaf Test
Brilliantly wonky DJ tool. Super interesting loopy production that keeps dancefloors moving in the earlier or later hours.
Room 206 – Strobe Light – Street Tracks
Adore this from Room 206. Moroder synth bass and catchy vocals. Street Tracks is one of the most consistent labels in the UK for me.
