Back To Mine With Rooléh

Amsterdam’s fresh talent, Rooléh, makes his impressive debut on George Smeddles’ South Records with his ‘Daylight’ EP, which includes remixes from Toman and Tuccillo. DMCWorld goes Back To Mine with Rooléh.

Johnny D – Orbital Life

Orbital Life by Johnny D is my all-time favorite house track. The track contains a loop that I could listen to for hours without getting bored. Perfect for an afterparty.

Girada Unlimited – Zapatac

I’d play this at the afters if people would still be dancing and I want to play something a bit more freaky. The track contains hard hitting drums with a one of a kind vocal on top.

The Mingers – Emancipation

One of my favorite tracks at the moment. I only recently found this and bought the vinyl as soon as I heard it. The sweeping pads combined with dreamy vocal chops and energetic drums is what makes this track stand out to me.

Rahaan – On & On (Rahaan Remix)

Another rolling track with almost no breaks in it that just keeps the energy alive. This track contains a well-known vocal but it has been processed in such a way that it’s sounding different from the original.

Soundstream – Soul Train

I’d play this at the afters if the sun was about to go up again. It’s a true disco house classic that can’t be missed from a DJ’s collection.

Dexter – Rhodes To Nowhere

Rhodes To Nowhere by Dexter is another rolling track that doesn’t lead up to a climax or any sort of drop. The track contains constant energy from start to finish with a lovely saturated hi hat and vocal chops that stay in the background keeping this track dubby and perfect for an afters.

Tuccillo – Amarena

Amarena by one of my all time favorite producers Tuccillo contains a plucky synth line from start to finish. All the drums and elements in this track create a blend like no other track, suited for a daytime- or afterparty.

Sound Of The Suburbs – I Won’t Stop

It’s not just the vocal line ‘I wont stop’ that makes this track suited for the afterparty, but also the groove in this track is one that makes you want to keep going non stop.

Da Sunlounge – Skin Tight

I’ve got loads of tracks by Da Sunlounge in my collection, but this one has a vocal that suits any afterparty. Skin Tight has got a very distinct sound and funky groove that makes you want to get up and dance.

DJ Funk – Work It

To close to list I’ve invited ‘Work It’ by DJ Funk to my afterparty, which is a bit different from the others on this list. It’s got loads of classic samples with the Billie Jean bassline being the standout sample of this track. Play this at any party and people will start to move their feet straight away.
