Sonic Soul Orchestra (AKA JP Firmin) is an English DJ / producer based in London and Los Angeles. He started his own label Interstate Records back in early 1990, along with running his own club nights, which led him to become a booking agent for NY’s DJ Disciple, Dave Camacho and legendary vocalist Michael Watford. In the 2000’s, he began directing and managing global tours for some of the world’s biggest artists and still does today. Stepping back into the dance music arena in 2022, SSO has since released a plethora of quality original productions and remixes on labels such as SoSure Music, Midnight Riot, Black Riot, Quantize, Groove Odyssey, IAH, Love To Be and more, with 2025 seeing his soon to be launched Some Kind Of Disco label. As his new single ft Camden Rose, ‘Unforgettable’, lands on SoSure Music, DMCWorld goes Trainspotting with Sonic Soul Orchestra.
