Yazmina – Amnesia feat Lucky Samurai – Circus Recordings
I’m releasing “Amnesia” on my Amnesia EP with Circus Recordings, its got a deep sliding bassline and classic house stabs and textures. I met Lucky a few years ago and he is an amazing artist and visionary, we’ve got a lot of work coming out soon that I’m excited about!
DJ Minx, Hilit Kolet – Spin, Sin, Slay – Snatch! Records
I love both Hilit Kolet and DJ Minx, absolute powerhouses and paving the way for female producers! This tune is fun with a grooving bassline, I’ve had this on repeat since it dropped.
Jeff Service, Torrfisk – Right Back – iSH
Aciiiiid, really loving my acid at the moment. I cannot play this track without pulling a bass face when the build drops, it’s subtle and those for me are the most satisfying. Jeff Service and Torrfisk have a nice catalogue of filthy basslines/acidy tunes.
Tal Fussman – Walking on Mars – ReKids
Wicked producer and label, the production on this piano led track is such a groover! It builds so well and then delivers, not surprising given Tal’s back catalogue of music.
DJ Heather, Andre Salmon, Gettoblaster – Get Azzid (Demuir’s Playboi Edit) – Aliens on Mushrooms
Jackin Aciiiiid, I just love Acid, makes me want to get on the tb303 immediately. Love the ENERGY, this is the type of tune that works day into night. All top producers so check them out if you’re not familiar.
Luzie, Dawit Asfaha – I’m Gonna Take You Home (Cinthie Remix) – Heideton Records
This track for me has a nod to UK garage with that really deep bassline. I love the production and this remix from Cinthie hits hard, another wicked female producer like the many I’ve featured in this list.
Aldonna – Pink Beluga – Semi Delicious
Aldonna is a sick producer with a really good ear that I’ve been following. Love the whole EP “Girls from Mars”, this particular B side track is fun and multi-layered with lots of ear candy.
Yazmina – Flangé Bongo – Circus Recordings
Flangé Bongo was really fun to make and is also on my EP alongside Amnesia. With this one I’m doing more with less and really utilising flanger effects and pitch automation on the bongo throughout. Hilit Kolet played this when I went to see her play in London when the track was just a demo!
Shur-I-Khan, Juliet Mendoza – Unfold – Lazy Days Music
What can I say, I love Juliet Mendoza, she is a force with both her productions and vocals. I’ve been rinsing this track since it came out, subtle deep house groover. Shur-I-Khan’s musicality is production goals, so good! The Fred Everything remix is also so good, I couldn’t choose!
Amy Douglas, Paris Cesvette – Give it Up (Byron the Aquarius Extended Mix) – King Street Sounds
One word – Timeless. Some tracks just hit the soul, and this is one of those. This has been on repeat and will be on repeat indefinitely, infinitely.
‘Amnesia EP’ is out now Circus Recordings.
