Azuli Black keep firing out the harder stuff and come out blazing by turning Kate Smith, Greg Hall and Paul Main exotic new creation over to Kidstuff’s Paul Jackson for an absolute floor-demolisher of a remix. The tune is doiminated by a distinctive female vocal which is planted over a contagious, oriental-flavoured marimba riff joined by sundry counter-melodies and huge, juddering undertow. The breakdown is a magnificent, stretched-out bomb, especially the drop to heavy breathing. Paul also turns in a dub to BRING some attention to the music. month with Minologue & Kab’s ‘That’s A Nice Way’ EP and follows through with Mr Stavostrand from Mitek. The title cut is another epic – 12 minutes of conpulsive pulsation built on a sequencer groove which grows organically with whooshy efx, trouser riffs and electro chords in there somewhere. Compulsive and irresistible with a more acidic expedition going off on the flip.
