We live for stuff like this, acid house transmissions from the dark side of house music, specifically tuned to destroy any remaining brain cells you have left and replace them with confused smiley faces telling your body to rave harder. As is often the case with David Duriez’s Brique Rouge imprints there’s an element of humor running throughout, in this case supplied by the irreverent vocal commanding an unidentified sparring partner to “Eat Me”. The rest is pure acid house tomfoolery – a minimal bag of twisted elements, brewed into an exciting concoction of late night head twisting badness. All led by jittering skipping drums that your feet simply can’t ignore. Flip over for mix two which is more prodding and thus more likely to inspire outbreaks of mutant conga’ing than a rave mosh pit.
