Denmark’s Music For Dreams label is a good benchmark for those seeking the deeper spectrum of club grooves, one of those labels you can almost buy ‘blind’ in fact. The latest from Danish band Luke is a laid-back post-summer mover that’s got all the composite parts in just the right order – warm bass, congas, syrupy keys and a seductive lead vocal that’s just about commercial enough to appeal to a broader audience. A classic deep house sound. Just one mix offered, too. You have to admire that kind of conviction.
