Almost two years to the day I first discovered Black Fras and the sublime “Moving Into Light” – a deserved global hit just about everywhere except in the UK where it failed to make any lasting impression despite a mix package of epic proportions. Now out of their Universal deal the group’s sophomore single is every bit as melodic, with lush mid-tempo beats overlaid with graceful strummed acoustic guitar and washes of synthetic strings, in what reminds me of Bent’s “Magic Love”. An unassuming yet naggingly catchy single.
