As the commander of the Chocolate City Mothership, his high funkness, George Clinton once mused… free you mind and your ass will follow! But these funk-inspired grooves from Evan Landes and Parrish Wintersmith are more of the sumptuous jazz variety, with TC Moses handling vocal chores having previously graced on the Californian team’s ‘Devotion’ single. All three mixes oozes goodness through the grooves with subtle piano lines, rasping bass and swinging beats adding up to make another feel good jam.
