Coburn are behind this electrofied reworking of The Temptations’ Motown standard currently being aired by Pete Tong on the nation’s favourite under the guise of ‘Pappa’. Retaining the distinctive vocals and adding dark synths and throbbing basslines, this modern catalyst is primed for dancefloor destruction but I suspect will make a generation of Motor City aficionados cringe at the prospect.
