At only just 18 years old Sam Ball drops his third release on Urban Torque. Nodding at Bizarre Inc and early Sasha ‘Past, Present & Future’ is different andÉ fun. With its ravey stabs and pumping groove, this could (nearly) have come out on an Italian imprint in the early nineties. ‘Sidestep’ is on a lush, racey tip – slightly hi-nrg bassline, melodic proggy synths and big breakdown ˆ la Oakenfold, musical stuff all the way.
