Luke upholds his reputation as a producer of quality and verve with this excellent four tracker from the brand new Fling Recordings. First up is WTFIT which treads a fine line between techno and progressive and contains enough fidgety energy to keep a hyperactive child occupied. ‘Profound’ is a solid electro offering featuring saw stabs and an ever rising stab string which quite simply slices the roof of the building. ‘Lickit’ proudly wields a super strong bass line and bestows energy in abundance to the dancefloor. Finally ‘Identity’ adds one for the connoisseurs; we can see Nick Warren et all rocking out to the this one: A fine release for this fledgling label.
