Keb Darge along with Andy Smith run the very successful club night Lost & Found, at London’s top tranny cabaret palace Madam Jo Jo’s. The night is an eclectic mix of 50’s 60’s & 70’s rockabilly, northern soul, ska and R’n’B. This double CD concentrates on the rockin‚ side of things, with no less than 37 jumpin‚ cuts. Highlights include Rudy Greene ‘Juicy Fruit’, Chuck Berry ‘Too Much Monkey Business’, Johnny Powers ‘Long Blonde Hair’, Lou Millet ‘Shorty The Barber’ and Jack Rabbit Slim ‘Long Time Dead’. The list goes on and on with every track being a winner. It’s been a while but the cries of ‘slap that bass’ are resonating around the streets again. Essential.
