Fresh from outstanding releases for Wagonr Repair and Tenax, Luca Bachetti is drafted in by Mark Knight’s Toolroom trax to create this splendid remix of Koolwah. Tight, swinging percussion and a throbbing bassline play off each other in fine style while superb production details help drive the track forward to an old stab in the break. Bachetti skillfully uses just enough of the stab to avoid overkill before kicking back in with his outstanding rhythmic groove. Excellent stuff.
