Not only does Paris Is Burning have a great title but it also boasts Ladyhawke’s distinctively sultry vocals which are coupled here with this engaging song to match. The track also gets remix attention by a list of who’s who from the sometime new wave of Peaches, Alex Gopher, Cut Copy and Chicken Lips all of whom give the song varying edges and interest. Although, don’t overlook the excellent original’s with complimenting English and French language versions which drop plenty of eighties hints in amongst the punchy arrangements and funky guitars.
