It has to be said that Marc Evans voice hits the button here with his self-assuredly soulful vocals expressing all the song needs to say and effortlessly. The original ‘Muthafunkaz 12′ Mix’ plays it off against an uncomplicated backing comprised of piano chords, stirring strings and brisk drums to give the voice its deserved space. Knee Deep then lift it up with their ‘Classic Club Edit’ as does the ‘Groove Junkies MOhO Mix’ while the more blissful atmospherics of the ‘Lovebirds Suite’ almost blow everything else away.
