Although cutting his spinning teeth in early 90s London, Tim has more recently been at the forefront of the Liverpool club scene. Here he subjects the title track of his ‘Season Of Change’ EP to three mixes while coming in with two new ones. ‘BST’ whips up a warm disco-sausage with shimmering Rhodes riffing, heavenly strings and groove evoking early 90s NYC boogie. ‘Diagonally’ is downtempo funk laced with acoustic guitar and 70s/Balearic vibe. The ‘Season Of Change’ remixes come from Chris Barker, who plants Neve’s vocals over spaced broken groove, Soulphonic [aka Universal Vibes honcho Paddy Freeform] turning in a floor-fizzing slab of dense house lushness and Tim himself on a chopped-up dub-house stepping tip.
