It’s an amazing achievement for any label to get too 100 releases and you have to be pretty outstanding to pull in the mighty Faithless to help celebrate it. The beautiful and much underrated ‘Music Matters’ is here in it’s full glory from Axwell and Pete Heller’s remixes to the brand new spanker from the head honcho Mark Knight. This is dance music of the highest quality and as emotional as it gets, Mark starts the ball rolling with a deep bassline that throbs with passion rather than urgency allowing us to fall into the charm of the sublime Cass Fox vocals until the groove continues on it’s journey into hyperspace. Pulsating stabs and dreamscape synths build and overlay into a heartstopping breakdown before delivering the futuristic headline riff to kill the critics and all pretenders to the crown. The music does matter indeed and proves that the world of dance can be full of emotion and beauty. Toolroom we salute you for staying true to your game in bringing humanity to the dancefloor.
