New Leeds label ahoy and the participants have obviously dunked their cakes in the glory of Basics at some point in their acid-house puberty as Denney follows his remixes for Great Stuff with a classic-style floor-demolisher. Starting as a groin-involving bassy chugger, the track builds subtly with malevolent energy before hitting a climactic snare-roll peak and being poked by the spiritual testicles of Mr 303. Rekluse honcho Mr Henry steams in with a heaving acid house bass monster boosted by sonic mischief and big drop before Sunday Roast’s Mundyke hooks up with Viva Music’s Darius Syrossian to unleash chattering aliens over electro-tribal groove mutant. It’s a good week for new labels who know their acid house onions.
