Vicious

Here’s yet another essential from Melbourne’s seriously hot n’ rockin’ Vicious Vinyl. Whereas in recent times the label has favoured electro-etched bangers, their latest harks back to those heady ’90s rave utilising that infamous piano-riff made famous on Blurred’s ‘Pianoman’ and Congress’ ’40 Miles’ – although the hook was actually originally ‘borrowed’ from Sterling Void. Regardless of the source, the end result is one seriously stout slab of peak time goodness sporting quite possibly Avicii’s best remix to date, making it already a firm favourite in sets by Roger Sanchez, DLG, Mischa Daniels, Jason Herd, Thomas Gold, Moto Blanco and even Larry Tee.
