Spain’s Kasper has already shown an innate affinity with the original house spirit with Net28 and Wolf & Lamb, and now drops a simple-but-deadly bomb on Bloop. Using 909 drums, percolating bongo loop and mangled-up bass, he’s created something of a no-holds-barred groove monster. Lauhaus’ remix adds more ingredients while retaining the pulsing essence. ‘Just A House Groove’ takes it to the basement with sampled speaking and extra-swollen bass action.
