This tune still gets to me every time I hear it, so I play this a lot around the house. I can still remember the first time I walked into the Opera House (Slinky) in Bournemouth where it was the first time I heard it being played. It just totally got you in the mood for a night our and still does now. Might drop it at my next gig now! Ha
Post Malone ‘Sunflower’
Totally not dance music, and I think it’s good to have some of these on this list. This track is so good, I listen to it in the car, around the house and when I am chilling out. Get our head moving, and he’s a great artist.
Motorcycle, Gabriel & Dresden – ‘As The Rush comes’ [Ultra Records]
This is such a beautiful track in so many ways. Well produced with amazing vocals. Nice to have it on actually whilst you lay down and relax! It seems no one ever gets enough time to do that these days.
Rd & Frank Wierdemann – ‘Howling’ [Innervisions]
This track was actually introduced to me by my Mrs and I was like ‘What is this?’ – I love that bass, it sits so well on this track. Ace, and I have her to thank!
Fugees – ‘Ready Or Not’ [Sony Records]
When I still lived with my parents, this was a track that was always being played. It drove them crazy I played it so much. I even made up a tape and used to fall asleep to it with my headphones on….! I love it when it comes on the radio or a random playlist, turn up the volume! Good memories.
Florence + The Machine – ‘You’ve Got The Love’
Thought I would stick this in as I do like a bit of Florence now and then, and this is one of the best tracks. Always sing along, and always makes me feel good.
Massive Attack – ‘Teardrop’
Nothing much to say here. Put your feet up and listen to this amazing tune!
David Vrong- Rrase Me’ [Zerothree]
Another bassy one here, ha ha I do love them! I used to drop this when I played a house set at one of the clubs in my home town and the crowd always used to go mad for it. It was so fun to play, and prob still is!

Bicep – ‘Glue’ [Filiposs Sgouros]
These boys are on another level. I really love this sound. Two of my closest mates have done an album with this sort of vibe and its unreal.
Moby – Porcelain [Moby Play]
I heard this when I was watching the classic film ‘The Beach’ and loved it straight away. Great talent. There are so many good layers to this song. I think everyone thinks of that movie when they hear this song, but that’s not a bad thing!
