Emerging from Montreal’s diverse and fast-growing music scene, SAENS combines his soulful vocals with ambient, down-tempo electronica. Prior to becoming a musician, he studied theatre and film at the prestigious Lee Strasberg Institute in New York City, where he developed his artistic vision and craft. Armed with varied musical influences, including Depeche Mode, Daft Punk, Radiohead to Bon Iver, zas well as inspired by the works of acclaimed filmmakers such as Terrence Malick, David Lynch and Jean-Marc Vallee to name a few, SAENS writes all of his songs from a cinematic and visual perspective, creating an enchanting blend of moods and a compelling narrative.
