60 Seconds With Stories In The Park

Stories In The Park is all set to return to Reading’s Palmer Park for a third superb edition on Saturday June 18th. After Chase & Status headlined a huge sell-out year in 2021, Stories is back in 2022, once again boasting two stages of the most cutting edge international DJs from the worlds of drum & bass, bassline, garage, house and techno, this year’s headliners include Andy C, Sub Focus, Flava D, TS7, Mason Collective, Big Miz, Friend Within, Salute and more to come. Who makes up the orchestra, where are they from & what is their background? 
 
“The House & Garage Orchestra is an Ensemble/Orchestra that performs House & Garage music live. The concept and project was established in 2015 by long time friend’s, music producer Shy Cookie (producer of UKG super DUO DJ Luck & MC Neat ) and events promoter Ishmael Hamilton”
What other events do you work on? 
 
“The team behind the event is TM Leisure. TM Leisure are also the people behind Stories In The Park, Entourage Project, Legacy Live & many more of Readings respectable events”
What is the venue & production going to be like?
 
“The venue for this year’s House & Garage Orchestra is Palmer Park in Reading. The production this year has really been taken to the next level with our Main Stage holding up to 5000 people, the attendees this year are in for a treat. Expect the best in sound & lighting crews on site for this event as well!”
Who is it aimed at, who should come?
 
“This festival holds no limitations and is open to any fans of House, Garage & Dance music, so to answer your question anyone and everyone who is interested in exploring one of Reading’s greatest House & Garage festivals should take the leap and join us on 17th June”
What are some of the best memories from the previous events you have hosted so far?
 
“For us we always look back to last year’s House & Garage Orchestra when a member of the crowd requested to take him and his partner up onto the stage to share a very precious moment with the whole of the festival, once upon stage and handed a microphone, he proposed & thankfully she said yes!”
