Setting the standard for daytime parties at Destino Five Ibiza
We hit Destino Five Ibiza on August 21 to check the upgraded venue for ourselves, and we were in for a treat as the resort hosted Pacha ICONS with Music On. Recently refurbished and elevated to five-star status, Destino has sharpened its reputation as one of the island’s most iconic spaces, blending contemporary design with sustainable luxury. Terraces, open-air bathtubs and wellness-focused amenities set the tone, but it’s the legendary outdoor dancefloor where the spirit of Ibiza really comes alive.
From the first beat the place was packed. Marco Carola proved exactly why his residency is legendary, locking the crowd into rolling, hypnotic grooves that stretched from blazing sun into Balearic dusk. Vintage Culture raised hands to the sky with euphoric melodies, while Fleur Shore b2b Joey Daniel kept the terrace bubbling with a relentless back-to-back that showed serious bite. Guti’s set was pure improvisational magic, a reminder of his status as one of the island’s most captivating performers, and Neverdogs dropped heavyweight underground cuts to close out a flawless billing.
The atmosphere was unique, the setting unmatched. For sure this was one of the best daytime parties we have ever attended, and without doubt the best daytime party on the island right now. With its new chapter in full swing, Destino Five is proving once again that when it comes to open-air celebrations, there’s nowhere quite like it. We’ll be back at the first occasion.
