Enoo Napa is a self taught producer from the township of Umlazi, Durban in KwaZulu Natal. After taking up production in 2013, his remix of Jackie Queen’s “Conqueror”, an ambient, dark afro sound with a hint of techy synths, caught the attention of Black Coffee in early 2015. In a short space of time, his productions have blazed a trail to the sets of prominent DJs worldwide. His quick ascent was no small feat, Enoo Napa quit his job as a CCTV operator to pursue music full time and produced 15 remixes and 12 originals within 18 months. These included “High in Your Love” featuring Durban vocalist Zipho and “Uprising” a collaboration with DJ Shimza. Now one of the most prolific young house music producers in South Africa, Enoo Napa has remixed for Black Coffee, N’dinga Gaba, Mi Casa, Oscar P, King Sfiso, DJ Merlon and continues to put out heavy, raw afro, electronic infused cuts on international labels; Iklwa Brothers Music, MoBlack, Offering Recordings, Aluku Records, Arrecha Records, DM. Love this. Pure Afro Tech vibe filled with loads of energy and topped up by illustrating vocals by Toshi. The heavy drums fuel the drive of this song. Perfect dance song.
3. Nico De Andrea and Andrew Pololos feat. Mopao Mumu – Woman (Fka Mash Afro Glitch) Headroom Records
This song for me is captivating. Fka Mash is a genius. Well laid out synths, an inviting depth in it’s progression and very cheeky, yet light percussive touch.

Lush Jaidene Veda vocals on a futuristic Afro Tech body bring life to a master stroke by Enoo Napa. Here, Enoo combines both energy a subtle approach with a cinematic rawness on this one.

5. Chelsea Como and Jacko – Flames (Enoo Napa Remix) MoBlack Records
Another banger, and floor filler. Definitely a continued bond between Chelsea Como and Enoo Napa as the follow up on Waves. This one is cheeky, progressive with rigid bassline stabs, surely to get you groovy.
6. Badbox & Vanco feat. Bobbi Fallon – Alive (Extended Mix) Sondela Recordings
Badbox and Vanco lay down a very delicate afrocentric foundation for Bobbi Fallon to glide upon with her beautiful vocals. A good song to keep the party going.
7. Manyelo Dafro feat. Bassekou Kouyate – Ladon (Da Capo’s Touch) Herbal 3 Distribution
Vintage Da Capo’s feel on this one. One could say, this is what Afro House should sound like. So polite, so simply, a very elegant approach by a world class producer.
8. Chaleee & Shredder SA feat. Tina Ardor – Shida Connected Frontline
Well balanced track. Stabbing bassline, a light percussive swing. Tina Ardor is mesmerizing, with her vocals echoing on what is a very good blend of Afro and Tech.
9. De Cave Man & TonicVolts – Wena WeKunene (Original Mix) Gumz Muzic
Energy driven gem from the brothers De Cave Man and TonicVolts built to further enhance those energies on the dance floor. Will be adding this to my sets, definitely.
10. Ikeja – Awakening – Afro Truely Music
This song truely is an awakening. A rich body of Afro work on a mind soothing chant. The aura is so relaxing, one can meditate with this one.
