Back To Mine With ALISHA

In recent years ALISHA has built a burgeoning reputation in the UK house music scene, originating from the humble UK city of Peterborough, UK. ALISHA has taken her time to craft her DJ skills to an impeccable level, while behind the scenes she locked herself away in the studio honing her production skills which have seen her grace labels such as Kaluki and Eastenderz with her hit EP, ‘Visions’. Summer 2022 saw ALISHA play at Amnesia for Jamie Jones’ Paradise, a Creamfields debut, a momentous b2b with underground purveyor East End Dubs at his Eastenderz party in London, and a special show at Ants, Ushuaia. Other shows include a sold-out all-night-long set at Manchester’s Joshua Brooks, multiple Elrow plays around the world, BPM, Glastonbury, Parklife, and Warehouse Project to add to her ever-growing list. As her new single, ‘Changes’ (incl Mike Dunn Remix) drops on Hot Creations, DMCWorld goes back to mine with ALISHA.

Gwen McCrae – Keep The Fire Burning

Old school timeless tracks! This is one of them. Holds special memories with me and my friends and such an easy listen. Often on whilst rustling up something In the kitchen.

Gwen McCrae - Keep The Fire Burning

MJ Cole, Elisabeth Troy – Crazy Love

I absolutely love garage. And this was my first real taste of it when I was younger. A classic that I will never get bored of and again sets me up for the day.

UK Garage - Mj Cole - Crazy Love

Chris Brown – Indigo

Recently watched Chris Brown Live after listening to him since I’ve ever known and this was his intro the tour. So it’s been on repeat ever since which reminds me of how good it was!

Wiley, Kranium, Dappy, Tory Lanez – My One

If you know me you know I always have this track on through the speakers at home or car at some point. These sorts of beats is what uplifts my mood everyday.

NSG – Ourself

One of my best friends introduced me to this group years ago and this song has just stuck with me since. Chilled out beat but also a vibe.

NSG - Ourself (Official Audio)

Sia, Wookie, Exemen – Little Man

Garage again but this is just toooo good. Never heard it live so it stays in my household only but love to play it loud and just dance away to it. The louder the better.

Little Man (Exemen Works)

Partynextdoor, Rihanna – Believe It

Bringing the tempo right down with this one. Love both of these artists in their own way and this track can just have in the background whilst chilling or doing anything within your home.

PARTYNEXTDOOR & Rihanna - BELIEVE IT (Official Audio)

Ayo Jay – Your Number

Dancehall energy, something I love and always have done. This track is on constantly because I just love the energy of the beat as well as the tone of Ayo Jay’s voice. Normally a getting ready track through the speakers for me.

MNEK – The Rhythm

I can’t remember how I came aross this track but its so addictive. The drums and the vocal on this is insane. When I do my little home workouts this is the track to get it going.

Fatback Band – I Found Lovin’

A track I grew up with being around my mum she loved and still loves all these records. Still a firm track in my playlists for home chilling and holds great memories growing up.

ALISHA ‘Changes’ will be released on April 28th 2023 on Hot Creations.
