Sofia:
ABBA – Dancing Queen
This song brings me so much joy no matter the setting it will make me start singing and dancing, making me feel like in my own disco and I’m the star.
Duke Dumont – Ocean Drive
This is the perfect long night drive song in my opinion and the reason why I am a Duke Dumont fan.
Rufus Du Sol – Innerbloom
One of my favorite tracks ever, Its slow build and emotional weight creates a mesmerizing atmosphere and gets me into my feels every time. Heard it live once at Coachella and I cried because it was so beautiful.
Avicii – Levels
A classic high-energy anthem that makes me dance around with my friends and just lifts up my mood up right away.
MGMT – Little Dark Age
MGMT classic in my opinion. I love the dark, psychedelic, and slightly haunting, synthesizers throughout the song, slowly builds up and takes you to another world.
Jay:
Massive Attack – Teardrop
House MD introduced me to this track. Has many fond memories. A great track to wind down to when the sun is coming up.
She Wants Revenge – Killing Time
Dark and moody, is the best way to describe this. Driving beats and shadowy vocals. One of my favorite bands to see live. Current live count 30+ shows.
Metallica – Master of Puppets
My favorite band of all time. The easiest way to describe this song: “The beginning” The band that started this musical journey for me. Difficult to choose one song. But master of puppets has all you need: peaks and valleys of energy. I never miss a chance to see them live.
Juanes – La Camisa Negra
Bringing some Latin flavor into the mix, this is one of the songs I kept hearing growing up. Always brings me back. A nice catchy rhythm to dance the night away.
Cosmic Gate – Falling Back
This track Is one of my favorites. A great way to get lost in the melodies and lyrics, perfect for transitioning into the early hours of the morning.
