Blakbot Project is a musical collective conceived by Kenyatta Scott, based in Atlanta, US, which has an eclectic musical style that cross pollenates many genres from Funk, Jazz, Latin, Rock, dance music with a focus on stellar musicianship. As well as studio productions, the band also perform live. The project’s current cast includes DJ Donne, Carla Prather, Carl “Doc” Boyd, Lindsey “Concrete” LaCoda, BLAKBOT_01, Corey Stayton, Asha Ahla, Sule’ Opio, Randall Vaughn, and Daz-I-Kue from Bugz In The Attic. The band are currently in the studio putting the finishing touches to their new album, which is due for release in Autumn 2022. As the cool Daz-I-Kue edit of their new single and album title track, ‘Distant Tomorrows, drops on Intown Studio, DMCWorld goes back to mine with Blakbot.
