Back To Mine With Collé

Collé has been roaming through diverse soundscapes for the last few years, always with great emotion and depth. He has served up underground anthems and Beatport Chart climbers on labels such as Anjunadeep, Stil Vor Talent, Human by Default, and Balance. He is one of the creative minds behind the Point in Time label, which focuses on vocal electronic grooves but always steers clear of clichés. As his new single ‘Kairos’ arrives on One Tribe, DMCWorld goes Back To Mine with Collé.

Soul Capsule – Lady Science (NYC Sunrise)

This track is my absolute favorite for afterparties. It has this amazing vibe that just sets the perfect mood. Those synths feel like a cozy blanket, wrapping you up in a really chill and nostalgic way. It’s ideal for just kicking back and enjoying the moment.

Dennis Ferrer & Jerome Sydenham – Sandcastles (Original Mix)

The melodies in this track are incredibly uplifting. It’s still one of my top picks to spin towards the end of my sets. It always brings a great vibe and lifts the energy in the room.

Nas – Get Down

I often listen to this when I’m on the road. Sometimes, when I’m feeling down or low on energy, I put this track on and it totally revives me. It gets me back in the game and ready to go. The whole God’s Son album is amazing!

Larry Heard Presents Mr. White – You Rock Me

This track has so much vibe! I find the groove really inspiring—the way everything sounds so loose but still fits together perfectly is just amazing.

Jay-Z & Kanye West – No Church In The Wild ft. Frank Ocean, The-Dream

There’s nothing about this track I don’t love. The whole album might be one of my all-time favorites, and the music video for this tune is insane too.

Quincy Jones – Summer in the City

The title says it all, but beyond that, this track sounds like the perfect summer day where there are no rules and everything goes. It’s so cool how Quincy Jones captured that vibe. Love it!

Sohn – Rennen

I can’t describe this track any other way than beautiful! Every time I play it, I get goosebumps all over.

Osunlade – Envision (Âme Remix)

When the moment is right, I always want to drop this in my set! It’s one of my absolute favorites. The build-up in this track is really well done. This track was way ahead of its time.

Bedouin – Voices In My Head

This one is a bit more recent than the others. I’m a big fan of Bedouin in general, but this track from their latest album is just amazing. The beats are something you wouldn’t usually expect from them, which makes it extra special for me. And the kind of haunting vibe in the track is really well done and very cool.

Cubicolor – Falling

I know the guys from Cubicolor really well and have learned a lot from them. Their track “Falling,” and actually everything they do, is brilliant! This song, in particular, stands out with its intricate production and emotive melody. It’s one of those tracks that you can listen to on repeat and still find new details to appreciate.
