MorganJ is an Italian-born producer and DJ, who has been releasing music since 2013. His catalogue of hits includes collaborations with Australian artist Will Sparks titled “More Than We Compare”, “Ma Luv” with Oliver Heldens, ranked #10 DJ worldwide, and “Get Down” on Tiësto’s label, Musical Freedom. He has performed at Mysteryland in the Netherlands on the Heldeep Records stage alongside Oliver Heldens and is a familiar face to Heldens’ Heldeep Records. The following year began strongly with “Energy,” a track that garnered nearly 2 million Spotify streams in less than two months.

His latest release is a collab with G-POL on Heldeep, ‘BAD’. Incorporating elements on techno, tech house and festival-ready EDM, BAD is a pummelling electro-tinged monster the raw power of which is impossible to deny. DMCWorld goes Back To Mine with MorganJ.

I’m a Quincy Jones lover, so I choose ‘Ai No Corrida’ because it always makes me happy and have fun.

Daft Punk – One More Time

The perfection of this tune is incredible, the French Touch on electronic music movement re-created everything and we must say thanks to Daft Punk mostly.

Groove Armada – My Friend

Such a tune. I remember this since I was a kid and I love to listen it when I want to switch off my mind.

Modjo – Lady (Hear Me Tonight)

This was my summer anthem when I was young and I can’t forget this masterpiece. The groove, the guitar and the vocal on top are the perfection.

Robert Armani – Ambulance

This is one of the first electronic tracks that I heard in my life, so I think that this bassline shaped my music vision.

Cher – Believe

First time that I heard the autotune was on ‘Believe’ by Cher, an Iconic tune for the Dance/Pop market.
