I love everything about this… simple but fat groove and bassline… timeless… Lyrics and flow are so deep. Very ahead of its time, conscious and hard.

One of my favorite tracks I ever produced… Akala is one of the best MCs anywhere any time and he’s ridiculously on fire on this track, and I’m very proud of this beat.

I feel about this the same as Dead Prez… sick groove with deep lyrics and just as relevant today.
Marvin Gaye – What’s Going On
50 years old and every word relevant today! (Do you see a pattern here?) And Marvin’s singing is just angelic.

Roberta Flack – Feel Like Makin Love
This is the sexiest song ever… it’s like butter melting. The sound of the electric pianos, bass drums and guitar melding with Flack’s vocals are beyond delicious.
Minnie Ripperton – Inside My Love
Another extraordinarily sensual song… I really love how the instrumentation forms this warm bed for the vocals that are so gorgeous.
