Born and raised in Burgos, Spain, Yamil has been delivering high-quality, high-charting house music for several years now. He draws on a rich world of Afro-inspired sounds and cultures and brings classy percussion and deep vibrations. He has landed on the likes of Sol Selectas and MoBlack while also playing plenty of notable clubs and festivals around the world and picking up support and plays from mainstays like Black Coffee and Solomun. After collaborating with G.Zamora on this label in the past, he now returns with a fantastic solo outing. As his new ‘Nimbe EP’ drops on connected Frontline, DMCWorld goes Back To Mine with Yamil.

One of the songs that got me involved in electronic music.

A Beautiful message about the connection of minds.
Michael Jackson – Billie Jean
One of those songs that no matter how much time goes by I never get tired of listening to it.
Manu Chao despedida
My favourite Manu record for it’s lyrics and message.
Ruben Blades – Pedro Navaja
I’m a fan of Latin music and Ruben Blades is an icon of the style, I could put many of his songs but ‘Pedro Navaja’ is my choice.
Bob Marley & The Wailers – Buffalo Soldier
One of my favourite Bob Marley tracks due to the good vibes of his harmonies.
Frank T – Exito en un tomo
I love the meaning of this one, mentions the new artists that want to reach success quickly without foundations and learning.
