I only managed to get to a few, but Kerri Chandler and Detroit Swindle at Sugar Factory was ace! The gig I played at Blinq for Conkrete Digital turned out to be really good too.

For me it definitely has to be ‘Format B – Chunky’. This went down an absolute storm at all 3 of my gigs…

Party animal of the week?
ADE has turned into a huge conference / dance event taking over the whole city, I rarely saw the same people on each given night, so it’s hard to answer that question. I certainly put in a good innings on the Friday night (I blame all the bottles of vodka behind the DJ booths I played at!).
Why is ADE so important in the dance community?
In the digital world of emails and social media, I’d say a conference like ADE is really important to put names to faces. It’s also really good that we now have such a huge event going on in Europe, back in the day a lot of DJ’s / producers from Europe had to make the trip to the Miami WMC every March, the shift has turned now that we’re seeing a lot of American DJs making the trip to Amsterdam every year instead!
