German producer Gab Oswin, real name Gabriel Placentra, has cemented his place as one of the most reliable producers to come out of the Frankfurt scene in recent times. Galaxy, with its flawless execution, is bound to be a safe bet on the dance floor. Released on his own label, GabCat, opener ‘Walk to the stars’ takes you deep down and doesn’t let go. Don’t get me wrong, this is a good thing. ‘Black Hole’ is like a percussion carnival with stabbing synths all jumbled in and thrown into the mix, and by the end of ‘Orions Dance’, Gab has brought you back up from whence you came.
