Hey Mark, welcome back to DMC. Massive new tube coming out on Cr2 with Senadee entitled ‘No Place Like Home’. A beautiful summer festival anthem if ever there was one, tell us about the track…
“Hey guys nice to be back at DMC. we met Senadee about 6 months ago and he played us some of his music which we really liked and we came together to produce “No place like home” which is currently being received really well. We have had 60,000 views on the video in 5 days on youtube which is great.”
The release comes with a killer remix package, what are the reasons behind the artists you have chosen to rework the track…
“We are big fans of Denzal Park, they are doing great things right now and flying the Australian flag high. We have a forthcoming single by Avesta so felt it was right to profile him on the package and Mario Fischetti is currently the no. 1 DJ in Brazil and also an artist at Cr2 not to mention a close friend- we like to keep things in the family! Hehehe.”
When did you become aware of the vocal talents of Senadee, he has a massive future ahead of him…
“6 Months ago his manager sent some demos and we really liked them, met up and hung out…the rest is history!”
You have had a magical 2012, some great gigs around the world…where has stood out?
“Brazil- playing at Green Valley for the first time and seeing 9000 people with their hands in the air and reacting to our on productions. WE also played at the largest ever electronic music festival in Helsinki this summer.”
Once upon a time you were resident at The Emporium in Coalville, an incredible club in it’s heyday. Why do you think the UK’s club scene is so poor at the moment?
The economy, lack of good dance music on the radio and the house scene changing and key festival dates where clubbers go to see a variation of top DJ’s over one weekend as oppose to going out on a weekly basis
What was the record that changed your life?
“What a question! a record that certainly influenced my life and career would have to be Chaka Khan ‘Aint Nobody’ but also would have to say listening to my fathers old cassette tapes of DJ Robie Vincent on BBC radio London had massive influence over my life…”

You have delivered some mighty fine remixes of late for some of dance music’s royalty including Avicii, Nervo and Azari & III…what is coming next from you studio wise…
“We have a remix coming out with Norway’s CLMD-S Black Eyes and Blue and a remix on Denzal Park’s new single called Yari.”
Are there any new artists you have signed to Cr2 who we should be looking out for over the coming months?
“Mario Fischetti for sure and Senadee obviously.”
You’ve a blank cheque, what artist from around the world would you really to get in the studio and release a tune with?
“Daft Punk.”
How has Ibiza been this summer for you?
“Ibiza has been a bot of a turning point for us this year, we have had more going on than any other year, including the launch of a series of live radio shows from Bora Bora featuring guests such as Felix da Housecat, Hardwell, Juanjo Martin and our latest show with Fatboy Slim. Has there been new additions to your studio set up recently?
“We have bought a Nord Rack unit and we are loving our new twin focalright speakers.”
What is the strangest request you have ever had whilst DJing?
“Can you sing Happy Birthday to my mum. We won’t disclose the club for political reasons.”

“Nari & Mailani ‘Atom’.”
